HOW IT WORKS
Drink- Run- Repeat. Got your attention?
Then this event is for you! You and your friends will take turns running a 5K loop at the Briar Patch Hunting property just north of Wilmington, NC. Before each lap is run, you have the option to drink a 12-ounce beer for a 2 minutes deduction off your lap time.
Run solo, with your best friend, or on a team of 3 or 4 to complete the 20K course. Solo runners can drink up to 4 beers for a total of 8:00 off on top of their handicap. Relay teams can drink one beer per leg equaling 4 total beers for 8:00 off of the relay team time on top of the handicap.
Beer option only available for those 21 and older. We will also have chocolate milk available for those under 21 or not wanting to drink beer.
HANDICAP AGE GRADING SYSTEM
On top of your 2:00 per beer deduction we are also implementing age graded results.

HOW DO I SIGN UP A TEAM?
Easy! The first person from any team signs up under 20K RELAY and creates the team.
Each person that wants to join that team simply follows the same directions, signs up as an individual and then is required to JOIN the specific team of their choice. The person who sets up the team must share the name with the other team members.
Cost is based on when you register, so if prices go up, you still pay the individual fee for entering the race.
You can also BULK PURCHASE a team, which means you buy the entire team's entry for a discount and then your teammates can register for $0.00 entry and join the team.
