Individual 20K participants can run the entire 20K distance (4 x 5K loops).  All participants have the choice of drinking 1 beer for every lap to get a 2:00 deduction.  Individuals are also handicapped by age and gender.  An individual can get up to 8:00 off their time through beer drinking and several minutes based on the age of the athlete and gender.  

Teams can have up to 4 runners each running 1 x 5K lap.  Teams are all handicapped by age and gender.  Each team gets the opportunity to drink 1 x 12oz beer for a 2:00 deduction per 5K.  Each team can max out at 8:00 deduction per team.

This option mirrors the 20K relay option, but allows the first participant on your team to buy the entire team's entry.  Each individual team member still has to register and join the team, but the registration will be free.

Beer club teams are in their own division and are affiliated with a brewery or bottle shop.  For example, if you are running for team Lighthouse Beer and Wine or Team Wilmington Brewing Company.  Teams in this division will compete only against other beer club teams.  Again you MUST be affiliated with a specific brewery or bottle shop.

For $350 your company receives 1 team (4 entries,) socks, logo on website, social media post to our 8000+ followers, booth space, and  20% of all the proceeds in this division goes to the winning team's charity of choice
